Marvel Puzzle Quest Concept

Just recently we got a great UI improvement to the game, which makes match selection much easier.

MPQ at a competitive level (or for those who want to optimize their effort/reward relation) is built around speed. The quicker you fight matches in PVE, the higher your placement is. The quicker you fight in PVP, the less you get hit by others and can hit more nodes.

Thus, the game itself should be optimized to make playing this way as convenient as possible, while still retaining the slot-machine like "click-click-click" rewards.

This concept surely has its shortcomings too, but I hope for it to be "food for thought" on improving the current implementation. It's already there for 80% of the way!
